With over 25 years of experience working in almost all facets of design and construction, Susan Tienhaara brings a combination of passion, curiosity, and industry acumen. As QA/QC Manager at Govan Brown & Associates Ltd., a leading Canadian national construction manager, Susan works with clients, consultants, and her in-house colleagues to champion a project’s design vision and bring teams together across the country. Her long tenure with esteemed architectural house HOK as well as an academic background in interior design has equipped Susan with a unique lens to her role in construction, armed with a discerning eye for design details and quality standards. Susan’s investment in continuous learning has led to numerous industry accreditations such as WELL AP, ARIDO, IDC, RHF Accessibility, NCIDQ, as well as others. As a consummate collaborator, she’s a critical piece in ensuring clients’ visions are delivered as intended, and she’s steadfast in her commitment to ensuring there is a clear understanding of expectations.
