Collin Sutt is an Organizational Excellence & Quality Consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in various roles within the construction industry, including in project engineering and management, and as a Director of Quality. Prior to his transition to the construction industry, Collin spent nearly 7 years as at a worldwide leader in semiconductor manufacturing, where he drove continuous improvement initiatives and Black Belt-level projects at their flagship facility.

A recognized industry thought leader, Collin has written for Quality Magazine, as well as publications for the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and has been selected to emcee and present at multiple industry conferences, and is actively involved in numerous leadership roles within industry professional associations. He is a Senior Member of ASQ, where he is currently serving as Chair for the Construction Industry Quality Alliance, as well as a 2-year term as the Immediate Past Chair of ASQ’s Design and Construction Division, after serving 2-year terms as Chair and Chair Elect. His leadership within the division, along with his contributions as a subject matter expert were instrumental in ASQ’s successful creation of their Certified Construction Quality Manager (CCQM) program and its related Body of Knowledge, helping ASQ in its delivery of the industry’s first construction-specific quality management certification. He is a former Co-Chair of the Codes and Standards Committee for the Metal Construction Association (MCA), and has also had the honor of being selected to serve as a Baldrige Examiner on the Quality Texas Foundation (QTF) Board of Examiners from 2019 through 2023.

Collin completed a Bachelor’s in Construction Science at Texas A&M University at Commerce, TX, with an additional broad minor in Business Administration. Additionally, Collin holds multiple certifications, including ASQ’s Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence, the highest level of certification achievement for quality professionals.
